Badminton Club

If you like badminton, and you would like to play in an englis-club, the Brussels International Badminton Club is made for you!
Coaching and training take part twice a week, on Thursday nights and Sundays afternoons in Wezembeek Oppem.

Driving School

The most easy way to go across the city is public transport. But sometimes it's better to have his own car, so that you needn't anybody else to take care of you. In Belgium, you can drive a car since you are 17 years old. For that, you would subscribe in a driving school.

The Arts

Brussels is a moving city. And like the others capitals, it contains lot of monuments and a great place is allowed to the Arts. The amateurs and the experts will appreciate the gorgious variety of museums in the city.

The Museum of Ancient Art
It is situated near the place Royale. The permanent exhibition is about paintings and sculptures from the 15th to 17th century. There is a remarkable collection of Primitive Flemish artists and pieces of  Peter-Paul Rubens.

The Museum of Modern Art
It shows art from the end of the 18th century up to our days. A special room is dedicated to the painter Rene Magritte, where the biggest part of his works is kept. Pieter Bruegel, Rembrandt, Jacque-Louis David, Ingres, Géricault, Delacroix, and many others are housed in this Art’s temple.

The Bozar center
This association groups 8 poles (architecture, cinema, dance, expo, literature, music, theatre, studios) to offer you a complete season of art all around the city,provided to insert the art inside the city’s life.

Another place to be for the ones who love arts is the Sablon Place. Around that place, you’ll find numbers of art galleries, antiquaires, and art shops. Brussels has its own Taschen Store, with every art-books you can imagine. There are also numbers of exhibitions in the streets during all the year. Brussels is a creative and young city where the art has its own place.

That's opera

A relevant exhibition on the history and production of Italian opera. For the 200years of the Recordi’s home edition, this special installation takes place in Tour&Taxis. A marvellous and fascinating visit inside the production of an opera, from the writing to the representation. Don’t hesitate to ask for an audio guide in English, because the exhibition will be clearly better with a Puccini’s air in the headphones!

For the ones who love the opera and the others who don’t.

Museum of chocolate and cocoa

The first thing you notice when you pass the door is the smell. A wonderful smell of chocolate. During the visit, you can try Belgian chocolate and speculoos, a Belgian cookies. You’ll be informed about the story of the chocolate all around the world, from the cocoa beans to the pralines. The Museum of chocolate and cocoa (Mcc) is a familial museum. There is two-floor to visit, with a collection of porcelains, chocolate dresses, and things around the world of the chocolate. There is also a presentation about how we make chocolates here in Belgium, made by a master of chocolate. All the information are explained in French, Dutch and English. Let you conduct in a world of great sensations.

Fat Boy's Bar

Warning! This is special contain for men, sniffing testosterone. The Fat Boy’s bar is… a bar. A sports’ bar. Situated near the European Parliament, it is the meet-point for the European middle age class. Everybody’s talking English here. In addition to the fact that the owner is American, the screens hanging on all over the walls are diffusing the essential of the English or American sports (soccer, rugby, hockey). R99

This is an activity for people who would like to approach a new wine experience. R99 gets up lot of wine workshop and wine tastings. As a wine consulting, R99 organises wine appreciation course over a five week period or during what they call a “wine weekend bootcamp”, a camp with lot of wine, that’s for sure! They’ll show you many unknowns parts of the wine’s world, how to appreciate wine, and you’ll certainly make discoveries about how to match wines and food.
